Today is a very special day. Apart from being 09-09-09, a nice combination of figures,
it also is my husband’s birthday and I have my first post on my first blog ever.
As I stated in my introduction under “About”, my intention with this blog is to write about my transition, my journey as I call it, from a person with an employee mindset to become an entrepreneur.
As many of my generation of Baby Boomers I too was conditioned to be an employee and I have been just that for more than 37 years.
Important is my awareness of the fact that I didn’t know much about most of the Universal Laws. I know now that to have success in business and to be able to transmute my desires and wants into its financial equivalent you need more than a decision and a plan of action.
Your mind and your beliefs are important too, maybe even more important than you would think.
The Universal law of Cause and Effect is together with the Law of Success and the Vacuum Law of Prosperity the 3 Laws of the Universe I find important in my case to begin with.
Since I now know that your mind is the cause and money is an effect, I know that it is very important that you are aware of your own beliefs in regard to money.
And to get what you want in life you need to let go of the things and habits which don’t serve to reach your goals. This is how the Vacuum Law of Prosperity works.
And for the Law of Success you need to know what the right things are you need to do, because this law says: ”Do only the right things for only the right reasons”.
As a Blogging Baby Boomer I hope to blog about the books I’ve been using, and still are reading and studying to help me with changing my mindset.
In my next post I will mention the books, some of them classics, which I use.
Be sure to leave a comment, your opinion, your thoughts and feedback on today’s post.
Congrats. I like your new blog theme and colors, very nice looking. I’ll be back to see how you are doing.
Leigh Anne, thank you for visiting my blog. Your comment is the first ever on this blog.
Deana
My sweet Deana,

And I want to say to your husband, Happy Birthday, even if it is a few day’s late. Hope you had a wonderful time with family and friends.
hugs,
Gerda
Gerda, I’m glad you liked the post. I first have to approve a comment before you get to see it on the blog.
Thank you for your nice words. Also on behalf of Ronald, my husband.
Warm Regards
Deana
I like the design of your blog. It’s very hard to get much interaction on a blog. People have to be willing to spend their time on it. My favorite blog is the Fashion Incubator blog. http://www.treehugger.com also began as a blog. Each of those constantly provides useful new information and invites reader input.
I think you have to state those three laws before you start talking about them because not everyone will be familiar with them, and not everyone who is familiar with them will have the same interpretation of them that you do. Then, I know you’re just beginning this, but you’ll have to get a lot more specific about how you are applying these laws to your own life in a way that your readers are likely to find useful in their own lives.
I’ve got to move on for now.
Hi Donna, I will take a look at your favorite blog, the treehugger, and I’ll let you know my thoughts about it.
Thank you for your comment.
My intention was to make clear how much new things I’ve been learning and prove how different my mindset has to be to become an entrepreneur after being conditioned to be an employee and working as such for more than 37 years.
You’re right not everyone will be familiar with these laws and will have the same interpretation of them as I do.
There are many more of these Universal Laws.
I hope you will come back. You’re welcome to do so.
Deana

Deana, I found you on Twitter and clicked on your blog. I think we have the same ideals on learning. Thank You for downloading Success in 10 steps on my site maggiekress.com
Michael who wrote this book is the person that formed Mentoring For Free. This group is just what it says. The mentoring that he gives along with the training is all free. I have learned so much about business, life, and the most important, who I am. What a feeling of freedom to once make this kind of discovery.
Your blog says the same thing. I feel we are never too old to learn something new and sharing with others is the best way to do that and that is what you have done in your first blog. You have a talent for making others want to learn more. Sharing ideals is our best way to a Successful Financial Freedom.
I want to share a site with you that Michael has on MFF. This site shows how strong negativity is when it is spoken. This was an experiment that a person did with a drop of water. The name is the The Positive and Negative Effects on Water. The site is http://mffaudios.com/water This site is absolutely amazing. I do not know how positive and negative could be explained any better.
I hope you find it as profound as I did. I have been trying to share this with others because I think it demonstrates how we see life. I try to live positive but sometimes that negativity pops in but now I can recognize it and I then think of something positive and the negativity soon passes.
With this kind of attitude, I feel much better and can think much better and I am so glad I have found it at 72. It just proves, you are never too old to start thinking right.
Love having you as a friend and want to keep in touch.
God Bless

Hi Diana
I have been reading your blog and love the stories and inspiration they provide.
I recently decided to end my very lucrative career and business in search of peace and tranquility although this will mean I will probably end up working for an employer instead of working for myself. I am originally from Canada and have lived in the Netherlands for the last 17 years, and now I am heading to Curacao to end my working career before returning to Canada to retire.
I am hoping my business skills and education – literature, third world history, political and social science will provide unique opportunities to do something completely different with the goal of doing more to help others/children achieve their goals. I am very excited about my future and increasingly becoming much more at peace with this life changing decision. Wish me luck and keep writing, and inspiring others.
Groetjes from Amsterdam, Susan
Hoi Susan,
Thank you for visiting my blog and for this nice comment. I wish you a very good time in Curacao. There is much work to do there.
We are connected on Facebook now, so we will keep in contact.
You are always welcome to visit this blog.
In my next post I will write about a nice project my guestblogger of my last post has on Curaçao.
It can be interested for you to know about.
Bon bini and groetjes uit Wildervank
